Honey Miso Salmon with Broccoli, Carrots & Almond

We have been inundated with all types of food that constitutes healthy eating.  One is never too young to start caring for our health and this should not stop at just our physical wellbeing but increasingly, attention must be given more to mental and emotional health.

Processed meats and carbohydrates, packaged meals, takeout food, sugary snacks etc have been linked with higher rates of depression, stress, bipolar disorder and anxiety.  Studies too have found that mental health disorders like ADHD, Alzheimer's, schizophrenia or even the increased risk of suicide in young people can be linked back to an unhealthy diet. 

Fresh fruits and vegetables, cooking meals at home and reducing sugar and carbohydrates has been found to improve mood and lower risk of mental health issues.  We hope that this tasty and colourful dish will entice all of us to begin to pay attention to our entire wellbeing - heart, spirit, soul and mind.
